NEXT STEPS
Following this public consultation, we will review the feedback and feed this into the design development process with a view to submitting an Outline Planning Application in Summer 2026.
Once the application has been submitted and registered, the Council will undertake their own statutory consultation process.
If outline permission is granted, a separate “reserved matters” application will be submitted. This sets out the detailed design, layout, landscaping, scale and appearance of the homes. Local residents and stakeholders would also have the chance to comment on those detailed plans at that stage.
Barratt are keen to bring new homes to Heswall as soon as possible and wish to work with the Council, local residents and stakeholders to deliver a scheme which meets the aspirations of the community.
